Sweet and Spicy In-Home Boudoir Session

Lauren is the sweetest human in the whole wide world, and I’m only slightly mad at her for moving halfway across the country with the love of her life.

She told me she had never done any sort of boudoir session before, so she was a bit nervous going into it. This feeling of trying something so new and vulnerable can be so exciting, but it can also be pretty intimidating! Especially when you’re being photographed (!) in your skivvies (!!) by a stranger. (!!!)

That feeling is totally normal, and within a few minutes of your session starting, all of those worries will melt away!

“But how?” – you, probably.

Honestly, we have a conversation. By the time you’re finished with your hair and makeup, I’m not a stranger anymore. We spend that time together shooting the shit and talking about literally anything and everything. With Lizzo playing in the background and my dad jokes on lock, I guarantee you’ll be feeling yourself in no time.

And that’s exactly what happened with Lauren. Within minutes, she said, “I didn’t expect this to just be a session full of compliments.” Girl when you’re nailing it like that, heck YES it’s a session full of compliments. Lauren said she left the session feeling so confident and ready for the day, and that it was just so much more fun than she imagined!

And truthfully, that’s the goal. Your session should be fun, exciting and above all, a celebration!

If these photos convinced you that you need your own session, get in touch!
